The homeslice Hassani Kwess has arrived with his sophmore effort, "The Mixtape's Day Off". Despite the title, this tape is as far from a day off as Chris + Rihanna's relationship...now (that was my one and only time making fun of them). Anywho after a thorough listen of this project, it's no question that Kwess knows his hip hop roots.

This mixtape plays like the lovechild of 2 Chucks. Chuck D (of Public Enemy) and Chuck Inglish (The Cool Kids).

Old School Flavor Meets New School Fresh.
